He appeared on the census of 1 May 1940 at S.D.9; E.D.48-26-B; Sheet 1 A, Sylvania Township, Lucas County, Ohio; is age 52, married to Jessie, and he is working as a foreman in a glass factory. Three children are with them.

     Pearl Etta Troutner was born on 6 September 1888 at Pennsylvania. She married Rolla Ervin McConnell, son of George Henry McConnell and Nancy Jane Kieffer, before 1910. Pearl Etta Troutner died on 22 January 1988 at Lewis County, Kentucky, at age 99; was found in the Social Security death index last living in Vanceburg, Lewis County, Kentucky.

     Eugene Dale Bond was born on 6 July 1924. He married Florine Bernice Troutner, daughter of Earl Arthur Troutner and Jessie Virginia Arbuckle, on 2 October 1945 at Sylvania, Lucas County, Ohio. Eugene Dale Bond died on 7 October 2010 at age 86.

     Christine Ann Bond was born on 4 August 1948 at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. She died on 25 March 2013 at age 64.

     Don Williamson Moore was born on 8 June 1918 at Paulding, Ohio. He married Doris Marie Troutner, daughter of Earl Arthur Troutner and Jessie Virginia Arbuckle, on 27 August 1942. Don Williamson Moore died on 27 August 1943 at France at age 25; was killed in World War II. After his airplane was hit with direct fire, Don went down with the plane.      Harold W. Platt was born on 17 March 1908. He married Doris Marie Troutner, daughter of Earl Arthur Troutner and Jessie Virginia Arbuckle, on 2 May 1947. Harold W. Platt died on 17 January 1996 at age 87. He was buried after 17 January 1996 at Fort Logan Cemetery, Denver, Denver County, Colorado.
