Philip Main died on 19 April 1835 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at age 87. He was buried on 24 April 1835 at North Sewickley Cemetery, North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; He has an American Revolution Marker--Government headstone.      Philip Main began military service in August 1776 at Georges Creek, up the Monongahela, Virginia, All records we have of Philip serving in the Revolutionary War indicate that he served in the 8th Virginia Regiment. His grave marker indicates he served in the 12th Virginia Regiment. It is possible, he not only served in the 8th and 12th regiments, he may have served in the 4th Virginia Regiment. This per a letter addressed to Commissioner of Pensions Washington, D.C., 7 November 1925, from Miss Hanna A. Parks, a descendant of Philip. He ended military service in August 1780 at Fredericksburg, an Independent City, Virginia; I have copy of military discharge paper. He appeared on the census of 1800 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania; is age 45 and older and Clory as 26 -44. They have 2 males under 10, 1 male 16 - 25, 2 females under 10, 2 females 10 - 15 and 1 female 16 - 25. He appeared on the census of 1810 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania; is age 45 or older, Clory is 26 - 44. They have 2 males under 10, 1 male 10 - 15, 1 female under 10 and 1 female 16 - 25. He appeared on the census of 1820 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; is over 45 years of age and Clory is over 45 years of age. He appeared on the census of 1830 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; is between 80 and 90 years old and Clory is between 80 and 90.

     Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough was born circa 1762. She married Philip Main before 1776. Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough died on 15 February 1856 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania; is found in the letter of this date showing Nicholas as the administrator of her estate.

     Susannah Nye was born on 27 February 1795 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania. She married Solomon Main, son of Philip Main and Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough, on 14 February 1814 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Susannah Nye died on 8 July 1851 at Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois, at age 56. She was buried after 8 July 1851 at Petty Highland Cemetery, Martinsburg Township, Pike County, Illinois; has no grave marker.

     Clara Mae Main was born on 5 April 1905 at Oklahoma. She married Fred Cleveland Hutcheson, son of Frank Hutcheson and Sarah Eliza Lizzie Holt, before 1923. Clara Mae Main married Martin Henry Fath, son of Michael Fath and Anna C. Fengel, on 23 August 1952 at Los Angeles County, California; I have copy of marriage license. Clara Mae Main died on 28 July 1958 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, Harbor City, Los Angeles County, California, at age 53; I have copy of obituary and a copy of her death certificate.

Doris Elizabeth Main married (?) Meyers after 1933. Doris Elizabeth Main married (?) Herpeche before 1958. Doris Elizabeth Main died on 15 August 1959 at Lackland Air Force Base Hospital, Rural Precinct 5, Bexar County, Texas, at age 44; of a brain hemorrhage related to widespread metastasis of breast cancer.

     Viola Blanche Main was born on 24 December 1915 at Oklahoma. She married Fred Marvin Swearengin, son of Robert Leslie Swearengin and Julia Ann Turley, before 1931. Viola Blanche Main died on 3 February 2005 at age 89; was found in the Social Security death index last living in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
