Pennsylvania Cemeteries

Most of the children of Philip Main stayed in and around the Beaver County, Pennsylvania area, but his son, Solomon, migrated to Ohio, then went on to Pike County, Illinois where he resided until his death. On this page you will find pictures of descendants of Susannah (Nye) and Solomon Main. Rosco Conkling Main is a descendant of Susannah & Solomon. See the album for his family at R. C. Daniel, the son of Philip's son, Nicholas, also migrated to Illinois. Some of his descendants still reside there. You will find pictures of Daniel's descendants in the Nicholas & Nancy (Nye) Main Album.

Sometime after 1839, Philip's daughter, Katherine, along with her husband, Thomas Johnston, and their children also migrated to Pike County, Illinois. Don't miss seeing the Johnston family history.
