He married Elizabeth Frances Smith, daughter of Jacob Smith and Elizabeth Strong, on 15 June 1907 at New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Richard Henry Nye married Mary Willa Williams, daughter of James I. Williams and Elizabeth Ball, on 3 February 1921 at New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Richard Henry Nye died on 22 June 1969 at Ellwood City Hospital, Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, at age 86; I have copy of obituary. He was buried on 25 June 1969 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker. This is a triple marker bearing the names of Richard, as well as both his wives.

     Victor Perry Nye was born on 3 August 1886 at Pennsylvania. He married Mary Louella Graff, daughter of George A.      Jacob Albert Nye was born on 25 April 1879 at Wirt County, West Virginia. He married Bertha Gosnel, daughter of Benjamin Gosnel and Jennie Morrison, on 23 April 1903 at Bridgeport, Belmont County, Ohio.

     James Nye was born on 3 April 1881 at Wirt County, West Virginia.

     Cyrus Piersol Nye was born on 9 July 1886 at Mason County, West Virginia.

     Mary Eva Crum was born on 26 May 1853 at Missouri. She married Dr. Hiram W. Nye M.D., son of Sampson Stilly Nye and Ruth Piersol, on 17 August 1870. She was buried on 5 September 1937 at Little Beaver Cemetery, Enon Valley, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
