     Sarah H. McColough was born in 1810 at Pennsylvania. She married Jacob Nye, son of John Nye and Agnes Jones, in 1833. Sarah H. McColough died in 1867. She was buried in 1867 at Union Cemetery, Whitmore Township (Decatur), Macon County, Illinois.

     Albert W. Nye was born circa 1850 at Ohio.
     Albert W. Nye appeared on the census of 22 July 1870 at Dwelling 168; Page 140, Decatur Township, Macon County, Illinois; is age 20, working as a farm hand and living with his father Jacob.

     George M. Nye was born on 20 October 1845 at Ohio. He married Lucinda Reichlager before 1878. George M. Nye died on 24 January 1929 at age 83. He was buried after 24 January 1929 at Soldiers Cemetery, Marshalltown, Marshall County, Iowa.

George is found living with his father in a later census this same year. He appeared on the census of 22 July 1870 at Dwelling 168; Page 140, Decatur Township, Macon County, Illinois; is age 28, and farming. George is found living with his uncle, Jones Nye in an earlier 1870 census. He appeared on the census of 18 April 1910 at S.D.5; E.D.131; Sheet 4 B, Linn Township-Second Precinct, Marshall County, Iowa; is age 66, widowed and is living in the Iowa Soldiers Home. He appeared on the census of 12 January 1920 at S.D.5; E.D.155, Sheet 9 A, Linn, Marshall County, Iowa; is age 74, widowed and is living in the Iowa Soldiers Home. This age is incorrect.

     Louisa Nye was born in 1847 at Ohio. She married Jesse W. Hanks on 3 January 1882 at Macon County, Illinois. Louisa Nye married David Sweazy on 1 March 1899 at Christian County, Illinois. Louisa Nye died in 1916. She was buried in 1916 at Union Cemetery, Whitmore Township (Decatur), Macon County, Illinois.
     Louisa Nye appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 at S.D.13; E.D.78; Sheet 8 B, Liberty Township, Effingham County, Illinois; is listed as age 50, has been married 2 years to David Sweazy, age 66, and David is farming. If this is our Louisa, the birth date for her is incorrect, as is the place of birth. She appeared on the census of 28 April 1910 at S.D.16; E.D.127; Sheet 11 B, Anna, Union County, Illinois; is age 63, has been married twice and this marriage has been 12 years. She is living in the Anna State Hospital.

     Lucetta Nye was born in February 1854 at Ohio. She married John N. Hill on 7 July 1874 at Macon County, Illinois. Lucetta Nye died before 1910.

     Polly Tusing was born after 1820. She married Newton Nye, son of John Nye and Agnes Jones, circa 1840. Polly Tusing died before 1850.

     Thomas Jefferson Nye was born in July 1841 at Indiana. He married Laura A. Cook on 10 October 1866 at Kosicusko County, Indiana; is found in Book C; Page 393. Thomas Jefferson Nye married Mary A. (?) in 1895. Thomas Jefferson Nye died on 5 August 1909 at Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana, at age 68. He was buried after 5 August 1909 at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana.
     Thomas Jefferson Nye appeared on the census of 24 October 1850 at Household 202 (398), Franklin Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana; is age 9 and is living with Richard and Susan Lee. He appeared on the census of 15 June 1870 at Page 23; Household 181, Warsaw, Kosicusko County, Indiana; is age 28, married to Laura, and he is working as a plasterer. One child, Lilly, is with them. Two children are with them.

     Joseph Nye was born in September 1843 at Indiana. He married Emily 'Emma' (?) before 1870.
     Joseph Nye appeared on the census of 27 July 1850 at Household 60 (297), Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana; is age 6, and living with John & Susannah Tousing. I believe these are his maternal grandparents. He appeared on the census of 5 August 1870 at Dwelling 458; Page 61, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California; is age 27, married to Emily, and he is working as a painter. Two children, Asa and Eddie Nye, are with them. I believe the children belong to Jospeph's uncle, Thomas Nye. He appeared on the census of June 1880 at S.D.2; E.D.95, Page 17, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California; is age 35, married to Emma, and he is working as a painter. One son, William, is with them. He appeared on the census of 7 June 1900 at S.D.2; E.D.74; Sheet 9 B, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon; is age 58, widowed, and he is working as a painter. His son, William, is with him.

     Elmer Nye was born on 6 October.

     Mary Jehaut was born on 9 December 1828. She married John Bryan Nye, son of John Nye and Agnes Jones, circa 1861. Mary Jehaut died on 21 November 1919 at age 90.

     Frances Jehaut 'Frank' Nye was born on 10 May 1865 at Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.

     Margaret Kennedy was born circa 1832 at Ireland. She married Thomas Nye, son of John Nye and Agnes Jones, in 1855.

     Asa Nye was born circa 1858 at California.

     Mary Ann Nye was born on 7 October 1856 at California. She married John Leonard on 5 March 1902.

     Edmund Kennedy Nye was born on 7 October 1856 at California. He married Sarah Jane Noe, daughter of Jacob Noe and Jane Grundy, on 27 April 1890. Edmund Kennedy Nye died on 4 January 1914 at age 57.

Sarah is working as a washwoman. Their daughter, Emma, is with them.

     Lucy Emmatine Lynch was born on 29 December 1832 at Maples, Scott County, Illinois. She married Jones Nye, son of John Nye and Agnes Jones, on 23 March 1860. Lucy Emmatine Lynch died on 24 July 1912 at Harristown, Macon County, Illinois, at age 79.

     Catherine Wright was born in 1803 at New York, New York. She married Patrick Lynch before 1831.

     Charles Clinton Nye was born on 15 August 1861 at California. He married Fannie Knapp on 17 October 1883 at Macon County, Illinois. Charles Clinton Nye married Etta M. (?) before 1920.

     Olive J. Stinson was born in January 1849 at Ohio. She married John Jay Nye, son of Michael Nye and Sophia L. Clark, on 25 May 1871 at Kosciusko County, Indiana; is found in Book D; Page 424. Olive J. Stinson died on 27 September 1936 at Lincoln County, Oregon, at age 87. She was buried after 27 January 1936 at Eureka Pioneer Cemetery, Newport, Lincoln County, Oregon.

     Zoa Nye was born on 25 March 1872 at Oregon. She died in 1960 at Oregon. She was buried in 1960 at Eureka Pioneer Cemetery, Newport, Lincoln County, Oregon.
