     Hannah Leonora Matheny was born on 25 July 1827. She married Peter Reynolds before 1851. Hannah Leonora Matheny died on 3 March 1865 at age 37.

     Moses Erskine Matheny was born on 3 July 1829. He married Mary Knox. Moses Erskine Matheny died in October 1864 at Saint Louis, Missouri, at age 35.
     Moses Erskine Matheny was was a river man and Indian trader. He adopted 2 children he found crying on the street.

     Caroline Shoemaker was born on 13 May 1831 at Pennsylvania. She married John Deemer Matheny, son of Moses Matheny and Hannah Nye, on 24 November 1853. Caroline Shoemaker died on 30 September 1909 at age 78. She was buried after 30 September 1909 at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; May have originally been buried in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Alpine McGregor Matheny and Elizabeth Reed were divorced circa 1863. Alpine McGregor Matheny married Maggie Pitzer circa 1867. Alpine McGregor Matheny married Virginia Vaughn on 19 October 1869 at Savannah, Andrew County, Missouri. Alpine McGregor Matheny died on 25 June 1917 at Ringgold County, Iowa, at age 83.

Three children are with them. He appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 at S.D.4; E.D.10; Sheet 4 A, Nodaway, Andrew County, Missouri; is age 66, widowed, and he is working as a day laborer. His sons, Pearl and Orestes, are with him. He appeared on the census of 28 April 1910 at S.D.4; E.D.11; Sheet 16 B, Nodaway Township - Savannah City, Andrew County, Missouri; is age 76, widowed, and has his own income. He is a boarder in the home of Johns C. Burns.

     Dr. David Metheny was born on 16 October 1836 at Wurtemburg, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He married Emeline Gregg on 29 April 1862 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Dr. David Metheny married Mary Emma Dodds, daughter of Rev. Robert James Dodds and Amanda Susan Cannon, on 10 December 1877 at Latakia, Syria. Dr. David Metheny died on 4 June 1897 at Mersine, Turkey, at age 60. He was buried after 4 June 1897 at Mersine, Turkey.
     Dr. David Metheny was a Surgeon in the Civil War and later was a Missionary in 1860.

     Elizabeth Matheny was born on 17 February 1838 at Wurtemburg, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. She married Samuel Theodore Sherrard on 14 August 1860 at Pollock Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Matheny married William T. Myers on 30 September 1896 at Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa. Elizabeth Matheny died on 29 January 1922 at Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa, at age 83. She was buried after 29 January 1922 at Oakland Cemetery, Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa.

     Frances Marion Dever appeared on the census of 9 July 1870 at Page 33, Madison Township, Scioto County, Ohio; is age 19 and is working as a farm laborer. Henrietta Dever age 18 is living with her and keeping house.

     Lucretia Dever was born in October 1854 at Ohio. She married George Washington Seth, son of Francis Seth and Julia (?), circa 1870. Lucretia Dever died on 17 February 1928 at Crosby, Crow Wing County, Minnesota, at age 73.

     Melissa Jane Matheny was born on 30 October 1848 at Pennsylvania. She died on 11 October 1850 at age 1.

     Francis Marion Davis was born on 5 October 1856 at New Castle (Mullentown), Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He married Alice Arazina Matheny, daughter of Elijah Gad Matheny and Sarah Ann Nye, on 24 March 1883. Francis Marion Davis died on 21 October 1957 at Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, at age 101; I have copy of obituary. He was buried on 24 October 1957 at Clinton Cemetery, Wampum, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of double marker with Alice.

Six children are with them. He appeared on the census of 18 April 1910 at S.D.21; E.D.154; Sheet 3 A & 3 B, Wampum Borough, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is age 53, has been married 25 years to Alice, and he is working as a retail merchant at a hardware store. Alice has had 6 children, all are living. Six children, Harry, the brother of Francis, and a nephew, Keith, are with them.
