     Andrew Ross Nye was born on 6 January 1750 at Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He married Catherine Eleanor Burns before 1775. Andrew Ross Nye married Rachel McDonald before 1780. Andrew Ross Nye died on 1 March 1821 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at age 71. He was buried after 1 March 1821 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.

     Celia 'Selli' Roos was born circa 1708. She married Andreas Ney circa 1740. Celia 'Selli' Roos married Leur Kuykendal on 2 February 1752. Celia 'Selli' Roos died circa 1757.
     Celia 'Selli' Roos was also known as Sara Ross. Celia 'Selli' Roos was also known as (?) Nay.

     Rachel McDonald was born on 10 November 1760. She married Andrew Ross Nye, son of Andreas Ney and Celia 'Selli' Roos, before 1780. Rachel McDonald died on 16 December 1847 at age 87.
     Rachel McDonald is the second wife of Andrew Ross Nye. before 1780.

     Catherine Eleanor Burns was born circa 1752. She married Andrew Ross Nye, son of Andreas Ney and Celia 'Selli' Roos, before 1775. Catherine Eleanor Burns died circa 1778.

     Richard Nye was born on 1 November 1776.

     John Nye was born on 2 October 1783 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He married Agnes Jones before 1805.
     John Nye appeared on the census of 1820 at Plain Township, Wayne County, Ohio; is 26 to 45, Agnes is 26 to 45. Living with them is 4 males under 10, 3 males 10 to 16, 1 female under 10 and 1 male 45 and above. He appeared on the census of 1830 at Plain Township, Wayne County, Ohio; is aged 40 to 50, Agnes is 40 - 50 and all their sons are with them. Three females are with them; 1 under 5, 1 age 5 to 10 and 1 age 10 to 15. These may be daughters that no one has been able to trace. Their son, Michael, is next door.

     Jordan McDonald Nye was born on 10 March 1788. He married Hannah Plantz, daughter of Sarah Ann Quinn, before 1822. Jordan McDonald Nye died on 22 June 1868 at age 80. He was buried after 22 June 1868 at Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.
     Jordan McDonald Nye was a commissioned Colonel in the 146th Regiment of Militia of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1st Brigade of 16th Division composed of Militia of the counties of Beaver, Butler, Mercer, Crawford, Erie, Venango and Warren. Commission is dated February 22, 1833 and expired August 3, 1835. Second commission dated August 3, 1835 and expires August 1845, signed by Gov. Wolfe. on 22 February 1833 at Pennsylvania. He appeared on the census of 15 November 1850 at Dwelling 59; Household 61, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is age 57, and is farming. They live next to John & Martha Main. He appeared on the census of 21 August 1860 at Page 276, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is age 65, Hannah is 59. They are living next to John Main. Jordan is farming.

     Andrew Rose Nye was born on 22 December 1797. He married Sarah Seth, daughter of Jacob Seth and Sarah Perry, in 1822. Andrew Rose Nye died on 8 April 1875 at age 77. He was buried after 8 April 1875 at North Sewickley Cemetery, North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.
     Andrew Rose Nye appeared on the census of 15 November 1850 at Household 54, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is age 52, married to Sarah, and he is farming. Eight children are with them. Michael is not listed.

     Nye Andrew Main was born on 23 March 1818 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He married Mary 'Mollie' Reno, daughter of Benjamin Reno and Catherine Swick, before 1839.

     Nicholas Main was born on 26 September 1783 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He married Nancy Nye, daughter of Andrew Ross Nye and Rachel McDonald, on 9 December 1802. Nicholas Main died on 22 November 1866 at Pike County, Illinois, at age 83.

     Nancy Nye was born on 9 November 1781 at Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. She married Nicholas Main, son of Philip Main and Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough, on 9 December 1802. Nancy Nye died on 23 January 1861 at Pike County, Illinois, at age 79.

     Philip Main was born in October 1747. He married Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough before 1776. Philip Main died on 19 April 1835 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at age 87. He was buried on 24 April 1835 at North Sewickley Cemetery, North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of military marker.

     Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough was born circa 1762. She married Philip Main before 1776.

     Daniel 'Dan' Nye was born on 19 March 1800. He died circa 1812.

     Michael Nye was born on 2 August 1785 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He married Ann Piersol, daughter of Sampson Piersol and Susannah Kastor, on 15 December 1807. Michael Nye died on 3 April 1844 at age 58. He was buried after 3 April 1844 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.

     Thomas Nye was born on 3 August 1802 at Pennsylvania. He married Perninah Pettit, daughter of Nathaniel Pettit, before 1829. Thomas Nye married Mary Gilmore Smith after 1836. Thomas Nye married Eliza Miller, daughter of (?) Miller and (?) Pickles, before 1846. Thomas Nye died on 14 April 1871 at age 68.
     Thomas Nye appeared on the census of 15 November 1850 at Dwelling 57; Household 59, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is age 48, married to Eliza, and he is farming. Eight children are with them. He appeared on the census of 21 August 1860 at Page 275, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is age 58, married to Eliza, and he is farming. Eight children including John, age 25, are living with them. This is the age of Nathaniel, and Nathaniel is not listed. Could this be that he is Nathaniel John rather than Nathaniel Pettit as in our files? He appeared on the census of 20 June 1870 at Page 16, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is age 67, married to Eliza and he is farming.

     Susannah 'Susan' Nye was born on 27 February 1795 at Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. She married Solomon Main, son of Philip Main and Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough, before 1816 at Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; One source has Solomon and Susannah's year of marriage 1828. If that is true, then Solomon must have been married before, given the birthdays of his first few children. Susannah 'Susan' Nye died on 8 July 1851 at Honey Creek, Pike County, Illinois, at age 56. She was buried after 8 July 1851 at Petty Highland Cemetery, Time (east of), Pike County, Illinois.

     Sarah Nye was born on 31 August 1775. She married Adam Deemer Jr., son of Adam Deemer Sr. and Dorothy Ketchelman, before 1803. Sarah Nye died on 29 November 1852 at age 77.

     Mary Deemer was born on 11 August 1803. She married Adam McLaughlin.

     Margaret Deemer was born on 23 September 1806. She married Edward James McLaughlin before 1843.

     Nye A. Main was born in 1862. He died in 1935.

     Edward J. Main was born in 1864. He died circa 1940.

     George S. Main was born in 1867. He died in 1868.

     Joseph Frank Main was born in 1869. He died in 1944.

     Maggie E. Main was born in 1874. She married Thomas Bristol. Maggie E. Main died in 1928.

     Carrie E. Main was born in 1877. She married Alfred J. Malins. Carrie E. Main died in 1948.

     Mary J. Meanor was born circa 1823 at Pennsylvania.
     Mary J. Meanor appeared on the census of 20 June 1880 at S.D.9; E.D.52; Page 30, Moon Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; is age 57, single, is head of house and her sister Esther is living with her.

     Ellen A. Meanor was born circa 1825 at Pennsylvania. She married Samuel Whitmore circa 1862.

     John Main was born in 1799.
