The photo was taken at their farm home at Straut or as known at one time – Stewart, Ilinois. Early in the 1900’s a train depot/dry goods store was located a few hundred feet from the family home. The depot was called Stewart Station. Straut is located between Pearl and Nebo. The property is no longer in the family but is farmed with crops.
